Funeral services for Bobby E. Crisp,
63, of Locust Grove, were held Friday, March 5, 2004, at 3:00pm in the
Iron Post Free Holiness Church south of Locust Grove. Rev. Travis Martin
officiated, with interment following in McClain Cemetery. Services were
under the direction of the Locust Grove Funeral Home.
Mr. Crisp was born June 19, 1940, in Locust Grove, to Ralph and Edith (Dorsey) Crisp. He grew up in Locust Grove, and was a lifetime resident of the area. He was married to Patsy Ingram on August 5, 1960, in Miami, Oklahoma. He enjoyed his work, raising cattle at the Clear Creek Ranch for 20 years. He also loved fishing, hunting, and listening to country music. He loved his children and grandchildren, and just being with his family. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He passed from this life on Tuesday, March 2, 2004, in Tulsa. He is survived by his wife Patsy Crisp of the home; three sons, Bobby Jr. and wife Melissa Crisp of Locust Grove, Bruce Crisp of Locust Grove, Brian and wife Shirley Crisp of Lost City; a daughter, Patricia and husband Carl Blevins of Stilwell; three brothers, Jim and wife Laverne Crisp of Tersita, Calvin and wife Marilyn Crisp of Chouteau, Jack and wife Marie Crisp of Calvin, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents; one brother, Charles Crisp; and one sister, Tina Duffell. | |
