Funeral services for Eva Louise
Condit, 71, of Locust Grove, were held Thursday, November 6, 2003, at
11:00am in the Little Rock Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Bob Bewley and
Pastor Rick Condit officiated, with interment following in Hogan Cemetery.
Services were under the direction of the Locust Grove Funeral Home.
Mrs. Condit was born February 21, 1932, in Collinsville, to Christopher Olen and Eva Pearl (Bracy) Ruckman. She passed from this life on Monday, November 3, 2003, in Locust Grove. She grew up in Tulsa and came to the Locust Grove area in the mid-1960’s. She was married to Marion Condit on October 11, 1974,in Tahlequah. She worked at the Mid-America Yarn Mill as a spinner operator until 1988. Mrs. Condit was a member of the Little Rock Free Will Baptist Church. Her favorite pastimes included vegetable and flower gardening, being with her family, reading her Bible and things pertaining to the Gospel. She also enjoyed watching her favorite team, the Atlanta Braves, play baseball. She is survived by a son, Lee Mosbey of Tulsa; two daughters, Carol and husband Jerry Johnson of Wagoner, Sharon and husband Doug Huss of Sapulpa; step-son Rick and wife Marilyn Condit of Locust Grove; six step-daughters, Darlene and husband Charlie Standingwater of Locust Grove, Marlene and husband Charles Rogers of Pryor, Linda Stephens of Tulsa, Marian and husband Danny Henson, Carol June and husband Mickey Back, all of Salina, and Kay Chancellor of Kenwood; brother Harold Ruckman of Tulsa; sister-in-law Joyce Ruckman of White Horn Cove (Wagoner); 27 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents; her husband Marion Condit; three brothers, C.J., Leonard, and Doodle Ruckman; daughter Johnanna Whiteday; grandson Hank Condit; and great-grandson Jordan Johnson. | |
