Grace Ann Bellion, 1923 - 2004Graveside services for Grace Ann Bellion, 81, of Locust Grove, were held Thursday, April 15, 2004, at 11:00am in Hogan South Cemetery. Steve Downing officiated, with services under the direction of the Locust Grove Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bellion was born February 14, 1923, in the Bronx, New York, to Ralph and Anna Marie Claps Vitello. She passed from this life on Monday, April 12, 2004, in Pryor.

She grew up in New York and graduated from Evander Childs High School, New York City, in 1940. She was married to Joseph Bellion on August 18, 1946 in New York, and spent most of her life as a wife, mother, and homemaker. She came to the Locust Grove area in 1980 from East Chester, New York.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 3573 in Locust Grove, and was active in the local senior group, the Locust Grove Go Getters. She was of the Catholic faith.

Her favorite pastimes included reading, cooking, and spending time with her family. She never had a bad thing to say about anyone, and was admired by everyone who met her. Her smile will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Bellion of the home; three daughters, Joanne and Bob Vance of Elkins, West Virginia, Donna Bellion of San Marcos, Texas, & Tina and Brian Taylor of Locust Grove; a brother Tom and Madelyn Vitello of Florida; sister Vivian Fiore of Vienna, Virginia; special daughters Samantha and Douglas Moore of Verdigris, Tamra and Mike Eagleburger of Pryor; and one grandson. She was preceded in death by both parents.
