Funeral
Services for Louella Ann “LouAnn” Chapman, 72, of Prescott, Arizona,
formerly of Locust Grove, were held Monday, March 22, 2004, at 10:00am in
the Lakeview Baptist Church, Salina. Rev. Bobby Bellew officiated, with
interment following in Hogan Cemetery, Locust Grove. Services were under
the direction of the Locust Grove Funeral Home.Mrs.
Chapman was born July 15, 1931, in Willow Springs, Missouri, to Walter and
Minnie Summers. She passed from this life on Thursday, March 18, 2004, in
Prescott, Arizona. She
grew up and attended school in Tulsa. She was married to Billy G. Chapman
on February 7, 1951, in Tulsa. She came to the Locust Grove area in 1971,
and moved to Arizona in 1999. She
was a homemaker, and some of her favorite pastimes were crafts, cooking,
and camping. She also loved her service work at the church where she was a
member, Lakeview Baptist in Salina. She dearly loved her family and her
pets, especially her bird. She also loved the ocean. She
is survived by a son, Billy Chapman, Jr. of Locust Grove; two daughters,
Tonya and husband Calvin Knock, and Debbie Carr, all of Prescott, Arizona;
and seven grandchildren, Matthew, Gabrielle, Wyatt, Laura, Amanda,
Bradley, and Ryan.
She was preceded in death by both parents; her husband Billy G.
Chapman, Sr.; and son Ron Chapman. | |
