A memorial service for Nancy Lawson
Tate, 49, of Locust Grove, was held Saturday, December 20, 2003, at 2:00pm
in the Rose Cemetery, Rev. Travis Martin officiating.
Ms. Tate was born August 11, 1954, in Casa Grande, Arizona, to Orvil Odell and Nellie (Atkerson) Copeland. She passed from this life on Friday, December 12, 2003, in Locust Grove. She is survived by her mother Nellie Copeland of Locust Grove; son Adam Lawson of Locust Grove; two daughters, Lea Jones of Big Cabin, and Cherri Hundley of Claremore; five brothers, Alfred Copeland and Bobby Copeland both of Arizona, Jerry Copeland of California, Joe Copeland of Locust Grove, and Terry Copeland of Arkansas; a sister Louise Smith of Pryor; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband Floyd Lawson, her sister Mary Cooper, and father Orvil Copeland. | |
