Funeral services for Regina Sue Tomblin, 46, of Peggs, were held Saturday, November 16, 2002, at 2pm in the Peggs Community Church. Rev. Rex Hendrickson and Rev. Max Harvey  officiated, with interment following in the Peggs Cemetery. Services were under the direction of the Locust Grove Funeral Home.

Miss Tomblin was born June 10, 1956, in Tahlequah, to Gerald D. "Pete" and Dorothy (Chance) Tomblin.  She grew up south of Peggs, and she graduated from Tahlequah High School in 1975. She was a past employee of Red Devil, Inc., and her hobbies included gardening, caring for animals, and feeding birds. She also loved growing flowers and coin collecting. She was of the Protestant faith.

She passed from this life on Wednesday, November 13, 2002, at her home near Peggs, at the age of 46 years, 5 months, and 4 days.  She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Tomblin of the home; three brothers, Daniel and Kathy Tomblin of Peggs, Gregory Tomblin of the home, Jeffrey and Kim Tomblin of Peggs; two nephews, David "Buddy" Tomblin of Locust Grove, and Jeffrey A. Tomblin of Peggs; three nieces, Kelli and John Hudgins, Carla Tomblin, and Darla Tomblin, all of Salina; and one great niece, Bailey Jo Chasteen of Salina She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald "Pete" Tomblin; and her grandparents, Dave and Inez Tomblin, Albert and Josie Chance.
