Mr. Cooper was born October 7, 1958, in Pryor, to Jim Ray and Joann (Blood) Cooper. He grew up in the Pryor area and graduated from Pryor High School. He worked in auto body repair before his disability. He married Cindy Looney on April 21, 1995, in Bentonville, Arkansas. His favorite pastimes included riding his motorcycle, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed family get-togethers, playing guitar, and watching NASCAR. He was involved in the Lakes Area A.B.A.T.E. Chapter 13 of Pryor. Friends will remember him as a very giving person.  He passed from this life on Sunday, April 27, 2003, near Locust Grove.

He is survived by his wife Cindy Cooper and step-son Roger McKinney of the home; 2 sons, Brandon and wife Samantha Cooper, and Justin Cooper all of Pryor; his mother Joann Cooper of Tulsa; granddaughter Kirstin Cooper of Pryor; as well as several aunts and uncles, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Ray Cooper, and his grandparents, Earl and Hazel Cooper.
